BULLHEAD CITY – A nine-year-old boy’s pleas for help led to the arrest of his father in Bullhead City. Officers responded to a gas station at 4 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 after it was reported that a boy was asking for ice cream and complaining that his parents were mean.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – The first of four people charged in a Lake Havasu City motel invasion and robbery incident has entered a plea agreement that will spare him from prison, provided he complies with terms of probation.
KINGMAN – A 10-year prison term is mandated in a plea agreement proposed for a man who admits having sexual relations with underage minors in two Mohave County communities. The plea deal entered July 12 convicts Joshua Allen, 26, of two counts reduced to attempted sexual conduct with a minor.
BULLHEAD CITY – Three arrests are reported after local narcotics task force members received information that a group had transported illegal drugs from California to Bullhead City. Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said detectives identified those involved and attempted to pull over a suspect vehicle at about 8 p.m. on July 15.
KINGMAN – The Alabama man who has admitted using a machete to fatally injure his wife during a quarrel in the parking lot of the Kingman Walmart store early July 12 appears to be an ex con who was previously tried for murder.
