Soltz acquitted in molestation case

KINGMAN – A man accused of sex offenses involving his underage stepdaughter at separate homes in Kingman a few years ago was fully acquitted at trial in Mohave County Superior Court. The jury deliberated less than an hour Thursday before returning not guilty verdicts in the case against Wallace Soltz, 37. Soltz was charged with a total of seven counts of child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor. Ohlemacher takes plea in drug case; faces five years

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman resolving her drug case through a plea agreement will be going to the Arizona Department of Corrections for five years. The punishment for Destiny Ohlemacher, 27, is prescribed in the deal entered Thursday in Mohave County Superior Court in Kingman. Prosecutor Jacob Cote told Judge Rick Lambert that Ohlemacher was a passenger in a vehicle from which one pound of methamphetamine was seized following a January 30 traffic stop in the 600 block of Highway 95. “The defendant admitted trading methamphetamine for heroin,” Cote told the Court. One pound of cocaine confiscated in LHC

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Police report seizure of a pound of cocaine following a traffic stop on Highway 95 near Oro Grande Boulevard in Lake Havasu City. K-9 “Rocky” alerted on illegal cargo after the vehicle was pulled over at about 10:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21. The cocaine with a street value of up to $30,000 had been package for sale, according to police. A usable quantity of marijuana was also confiscated.
