LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to make the community aware of two recent local scams that have been reported. In one of the scams, the caller indicates that your iCloud account has been compromised. The caller has you access your phone settings to turn certain functions off and on. COLORADO CITY – The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking information about the recent poaching of two female (doe) mule deer near Colorado City. The deer were found in Game Management Unit 13A, north of Mohave County Highway 237 (Cane Beds Road) in the Cottonwood Canyon area. KINGMAN – A Parker man who committed violent robberies at two businesses in Lake Havasu City is being sent to the Arizona Department of Corrections for 8.5 years. The punishment imposed Thursday by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert was mandated in a plea agreement for Kerrigon Russell, 24. Russsell pleaded guilty to robbery and aggravated assault for an April 29, 2019 incident at the Sally Beauty Supply store at 5601 Highway 95. KINGMAN – A local man reportedly admitted committing an act of arson and using dangerous drugs after authorities responded to a residential structure fire in north Kingman. The January 11 fire in the 3600 block of Lum Avenue was reported at 11:22 a.m. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said witnesses saw a Hispanic man in the yard before responders first arrived on scene.
