Fulcher sentenced to 42 years in sex abuse case

KINGMAN – A 42.5-year prison term has been imposed for a Bullhead City man convicted of sex offenses involving a young woman and two young teenage girls. Jesse Fulcher, 39, was sentenced on Oct. 26 at the Mohave County Courthouse in Kingman. Judge Doug Camacho found Fulcher guilty of child molestation and six counts of sexual abuse of a minor in a bench trial concluded Sept. 15. KINGMAN – The Kingman Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two male suspects who were seen on video surveillance buying multiple gift cards utilizing stolen credit cards. MCSO receives grant funding

Sheriff Doug Schuster has announced that the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has received funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to purchase: ~ Portable Breath Test machines ($3,511) ~ Radar Units for Patrol vehicles ($5,100) The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office will use the Portable Breath Testers as a way to enhance DUI enforcement throughout Mohave County. They currently use PBT machines for DUI cases, however half of the patrol deputies do not have a PBT machine readily available for their use. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Police report separate drug arrests the first two days of this month. Police responded at 8:20 a.m. Sunday to conduct a welfare check after it was reported a subject was passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle at the intersection of Pauline Drive and Honeybear Drive. The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is looking for help from the public in identifying and locating two vehicles involved in a deadly hit-and run collision in the Mohave Valley area on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The name of the 66-year-old pedestrian from Fort Mohave who was killed is currently withheld. DPS spokesman Bart Graves said the victim had been in a taxicab before asking the driver to pull over and let her out. Kingman man charged with sexual exploitation

A Kingman man was arrested Monday for alleged sex offenses involving a 16-year-old girl in Arkansas. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said David Joseph Cruz, 40, had a long distance, year-long communication involvement with the girl he met through social media. “During their relationship, Cruz requested and received nude photos and videos of the victim,” said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “Cruz communicated with the victim through video chat, phone calls and text messages.” Cruz reportedly admitted his involvement when interviewed by detectives.
