Former coach charged for alleged sexual relations with student

BULLHEAD CITY – A school employee in Bullhead City faces prosecution for alleged sexual relations with a former student. 42-year-old Joey Leslie was arrested Thursday at the Mohave Accelerated Learning center where was employed as an Instruction Aide and basketball coach. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said an investigation began when a 21-year old woman reported having a sexual relationship with Leslie when she was 15. LAKE HAVASU CITY – Authorities seized electronic devices and arrested a Lake Havasu City man as part of an ongoing investigation involving child pornography. Police said the investigation began months ago after an internet crimes task force reported detection of illegal image downloading. Detectives executed a search warrant on Tuesday, Oct. 27 after pinpointing the residence in question in the 3100 block of Desert View Court.
