Lathrop takes plea in drug sale case

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A prison sentence is prescribed for a Lake Havasu City drug dealer who entered a plea agreement at the Mohave County courthouse in Kingman. Robert Lathrop, 59, Lake Havasu, pleaded guilty Friday to possession of dangerous drugs for sale and misconduct involving weapons. Prosecutor Jonathan Robinson said police officers executed a Dec. 1, 2020 stop of the vehicle Lathrop was driving in the 600 block of N. Bullhead crash brings prison deal

BULLHEAD CITY – Driving another person’s vehicle without permission while intoxicated and fleeing the scene of a Bullhead City traffic accident will result in a prison sentence for a Marana man. Buddy Smith, 47, pleaded guilty Friday to leaving the scene of an accident involving injury. Terms of the plea agreement will result in other convictions for unlawful use of means of transportation and driving under the influence of alcohol. Criminal damage charges are dismissed in the deal. Prison ordered for drug dealer

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A 4-year prison term was ordered Thursday for a Peoria woman who allegedly sold large quantities of heroin and counterfeit pills in the Lake Havasu City area. Judge Doug Camacho sentenced Summer Parkerson, 34. “I do take full responsibility for my actions,” Parkerson told the Judge. “Any leniency is appreciated.” The four-year sentence imposed by Camacho was one year less than the maximum punishment possible under terms of a plea agreement convicting Parkerson of possession of narcotic drugs for sale.
