Teen shot in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY – A teenager has been wounded by gunfire in Bullhead City. Police department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said a 17-year-old male was shot in the alleyway behind the Samurai Steakhouse in the 2000 block of Highway 95.

Officers reportedly responded at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17. Fromelt said the teen who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper arm or shoulder was flown to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment.

Fromelt said the assailant was not identified initially and that police continue investigating.
