Beginning today, Friday, November 15, until 5:00 p.m., Desert Construction will close Beverly Avenue between Western Ave. and Fairfax Street to finish street improvements. This closure will also take place again, Monday, November 18 during the same time frame. The street will re-open each evening and will be open during the weekend.

View dozens of beautifully lit vehicles and floats along with marching bands and Mr. and Mrs. Claus’ sleigh proceed down Beale Street between First and Fifth Sts. Following the parade, the City of Kingman will perform their annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in Locomotive Park. KINGMAN — A wildlife biologist from the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) will be available to answer questions about local game management from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at Desert Archery, 4030 Stockton Hill Road, No. 14, in Kingman. KINGMAN –– The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kingman Field Office will host a public scoping meeting November 19 to present a proposed mine plan from Kalamazoo Materials Inc. that would allow for expansion of an existing decorative rock mineral material site near the town of Chloride in Mohave County. The current decorative rock mine and access road encompasses 37 acres. The proposed mine plan would expand the mine site west of the existing location, adding an additional 23 acres.
