Kino Avenue closures extended due to weather

KINGMAN – Due to recent and expected rains, the Kino Avenue closure will continue through Wednesday, March 18, at the minimum. The street closure is at Willow Road and Kino Ave., and extends to North Glen Rd. Detours are still in place for street closures. Mohave County Coronavirus update

MOHAVE COUNTY – Kingman Regional Medical Center is implementing patient visitation restrictions to attempt to prevent any spread of the coronavirus among its patients or workforce. Chief Executive Officer Brian Turney said signs will be posted at the hospital and that voluntary compliance is requested this weekend before the restrictions will be more strictly enforced next week. Turney said patient visitation will be restricted to family members and that visitation hours will also be limited. Initial construction is underway where a new coffee shop will soon be going vertical in Kingman. The community’s second Human Bean store is being built just southwest of Taco Bell, in the old Kmart parking lot along Andy Devine Avenue.
