BULLHEAD CITY – The City of Bullhead City, Dot Foods and Food for Families Food Bank are hosting a Spring Drive-Thru Food Pantry to help Bullhead area residents in need. Mohave County COVID-19 update

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County officials reported three more positive coronavirus cases Wednesday, and two Thursday, bringing the county total to 28. The latest two cases are from the Kingman area. County Communications Director Roger Galloway said a second death of an elderly person (65+) with underlying chronic health conditions has occurred in Lake Havasu City. This is the second COVID-19-related death in Mohave County. The first was also an elderly person hospitalized with underlying chronic health conditions in Lake Havasu City. CRUHSD board meeting temporarily switches to videoconferencing

BULLHEAD CITY – Monday night’s monthly governing board meeting of the Colorado River Union High School District (CRUHSD) will be conducted by videoconference due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.  The livestreamed meeting will be accessible to the public, and call to the public comments will be accepted in advance. Two deaths, 28 positive COVID-19 cases in Mohave County

MOHAVE COUNTY – Havasu Regional Medical Center has informed the Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) of the death of an elderly person (65+) with underlying chronic health conditions. This is the second COVID-19-related death in Mohave County. The first was also an elderly person hospitalized with underlying chronic health conditions in Lake Havasu City. MCDPH nursing staff was notified late this afternoon, Wednesday, April 8, of two COVID-19 positive patients from the Kingman service area. USDA is expanding access to innovative online food purchase program  U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue has announced approval for Arizona and California’s request to provide online purchasing of food to SNAP Households in the States of Arizona and California.  This approval will allow the States to expedite the implementation of online purchasing with currently authorized SNAP online retailers with a target start date later this month.
