Kingman continues striping operations

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman is continuing striping operations, with white roadway markings starting Monday, July 13. Typical times will be from 5:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Crews are finishing the striping operations with white striping, as the yellow striping took place in late May. Crews will only occupy one lane, and in most areas, drivers will be able to drive around striping vehicles, however we ask drivers to use caution around crews. The city recommends drivers not drive through newly applied paint but depending on temperatures, paint can dry within about 30 seconds. The schedule…

BULLHEAD CITY/MOHAVE VALLEY – The three high schools in the Colorado River Union High School District have opened online registration for the 2020-2021 school year.  On-site registration schedules have also been posted. Registration procedures will be different than in the past because of COVID-19 safety precautions, but required documentation remains the same. Online registration for returning students is already underway for Mohave, River Valley and CRUHSD Academy High Schools.  In-house registration schedules are different for the three schools for new and returning students. BULLHEAD CITY – Illegal fireworks ruined Sue Demarco’s 4th of July in Bullhead City. Demarco told city council members Tuesday that her neighborhood was endangered and its peace disrupted by irresponsible revelry during the Independence Day holiday stretch. “Wednesday night to Sunday night, five days in a row, we had bottle rockets, aerial fireworks, behind us, around us, in front of us, illegal fireworks,” Demarco said.
