KINGMAN – The Arizona Elks have made a donation enabling the replacement of an essential freezer to the Kingman Area Food Bank. This freezer is used daily as community members are provided emergency food in the food bank store. Donations from St. Mary’s Food Bank, Safeway, Walmart, Basha and Smiths as well as several other local retail establishments are collected daily using a Food Bank refrigerated truck. Frozen items are stored in a large warehouse walk in freezer. As Mohave residents pass through the store, they collect canned, baked, and packaged dry foods as well as dairy and frozen foods…

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman offices will be closed Wednesday November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. There will be no commercial trash service on Wednesday; Wednesday commercial trash customers should put their cans out one day late. KART services will not be available Wednesday, November 11, as well.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to preserve roadways, The Lake Havasu City Public Works Department is announcing the start of its Fog Seal Program. This project is for three weeks and is starting Monday, November 9. Approximately 600,000 square yards of street is being resurfaced in various locations throughout the City.   Residents and businesses, located along streets being improved, will receive a door hanger notice approximately five days in advance of the construction and again 24-hours prior to the work.
