KINGMAN – The community comes out to help the community during the holidays again. The Kirby family (in a partnership with the Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation) and nearly 100 volunteers from throughout the Kingman area helped feed the hungry, lonely or anyone who needed a bite to eat on Christmas Day. On Thanksgiving Day, John Kirby, working with the KRMC kitchen staff, prepared nearly 200 meals pre-cooked and prepackaged meals for an assortment of residents and families in the Kingman area including Golden Valley and Dolan Springs. Bureau of Reclamation Commissioner Brenda Burman has named Wayne Pullan regional director of the Upper Colorado Basin Region. Pullan has more than 25 years of Reclamation experience and will officially assume his duties as regional director Dec. 20, 2020. “Wayne brings a wealth of experience and expertise in management of water supply issues in this region,” said Commissioner Burman. “That experience will be critical in the Upper Colorado Region as we continue to grapple with complex issues such as ongoing drought, aging infrastructure, and operating protocols for the Colorado River and Rio Grande River basins.” As Regional Director, Pullan will…
