MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College’s Substance Abuse Counseling program recently received accreditation by the National Addiction Studies Accreditation Commission (NASAC).  MCC is one of only 29 colleges in the country to have earned this specialized accreditation. NASAC is an accreditation organization for higher education addiction studies programs. KINGMAN – Luigi Garibaldi has been at it for years. Head chef and owner of Garibaldi’s restaurant on Andy Devine Avenue was joined by his small staff to cook and serve Christmas Eve meals to the homeless and needy Thursday. KINGMAN – The community comes out to help the community during the holidays again. The Kirby family (in a partnership with the Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation) and nearly 100 volunteers from throughout the Kingman area helped feed the hungry, lonely or anyone who needed a bite to eat on Christmas Day. On Thanksgiving Day, John Kirby, working with the KRMC kitchen staff, prepared nearly 200 meals pre-cooked and prepackaged meals for an assortment of residents and families in the Kingman area including Golden Valley and Dolan Springs.
