KINGMAN – The men were part of the roughly 40 military veterans, Kingman Veterans Treatment Court staff, their friends and family members spent Saturday afternoon mingling and playing during the treatment court’s annual picnic at Firefighters Memorial Park.

Carman and Mestayer were the picnic’s cornhole tournament champions. Judge Singer presides over the treatment court which started in 2015 and is specifically tailored to help veterans with legal issues within the criminal justice system. The treatment court often organizes hikes to bring the veteran community together. To get involved as a mentor (veteran status required) or as a member the Veterans Resource Team (veteran status not required), contact Dorgan at 928-753-8072.
