Final election tally, canvass Monday

MOHAVE COUNTY –The ballot tabulation for the November 3 general election is complete in Mohave County. The Board of Supervisors plans to officially approve the canvass this Monday, November 16. The canvass will account for every ballot cast and ensures that each valid vote is included in the official results. The supervisors in its official capacity, if it approves, will officially confirm that every valid ballot has been counted—absentee, early voting, Election Day, provisional, challenged, and uniformed and overseas citizen. He has demonstrated that he has the knowledge, experience, and tenure to act as a supervisor and lead others. John Wilson is recognized as a valuable member of the agency. Kingman Airport: Hays alleges fund diversion

KINGMAN – Carl Hays has alleged illegal diversion of Kingman Airport revenue as he resigned his position as member and Chairman of the Kingman Airport Advisory Commission. Hays’ Oct. 28 resignation letter came after he previously sided with exiting Airport Manager Steve Johnston while criticizing management and leadership at City Hall. City manager Ron Foggin fired back last month claiming that Hays was overstepping his advisory role as a commissioner and improperly involving himself in airport operations. KINGMAN – Kingman police have released more details of a barricaded subject ordeal that ended in a civilian suicide on Friday, Nov. 6. Police department spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki said it was determined that Earl Hendrix, 37, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
