Kingman Fire Department Station #22 Ribbon Cutting

KINGMAN. – The City of Kingman would like to invite community members to the official ribbon cutting and tour of the remodel of Kingman Fire Station #22 and training tower, located at the corner of Harrison Street and Historic Route 66. The ribbon cutting will take place Thursday, April 1, at 12:00 p.m.

Kingman City Manager Ron Foggin said, “I am pleased that we have been able to improve the living and working quarters for our Fire Department Team. I am especially happy about the improvements we have made to our training facilities, which will ensure our fire fighters get the best possible training.”

Kingman Fire Chief Jake Rhoades said, “I want to extend my thanks to the Kingman City Council for providing funding for this much-needed remodel as it allows the department to relocate resources and personnel for a more effective response model and support a quality and safe work environment for our team members.”

The remodel of Kingman Fire Station 22 and training tower/burn building cost was approved in the 2021 City of Kingman Fiscal Budget for $1,738,758.00.  The remodel of Fire Station 22 was completed by TR Orr Construction, while the construction of the training tower/burn building was completed by WHP Training Towers from Overland Park, KS.
