BULLHEAD CITY – Members of the Colorado River Union High School District have unanimously selected three finalists to be the district’s next superintendent.  One candidate is internal, one is external, and one previously served as a CRUHSD superintendent. The three are CRUHSD’s career-technical education (CTE) and college and career readiness (CCR) director Gina Covert, Sacaton Elementary School District superintendent Dr. Cherryl Paul, and former CRUHSD superintendent Monte Silk.  All three have strong Arizona ties. LAKE HAVASU CITY – In an effort to preserve our roadways, The Lake Havasu City Maintenance Services Division announces the nighttime closure of Lake Havasu Ave. from Mesquite Ave. to Swanson Ave. for routine maintenance. The roadway will be closed to through traffic on Lake Havasu Ave. from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Sunday, May 9 to Tuesday, May 11 subject to weather and other conditions.
