Several vague and anonymous social media posts have encouraged acts of violence to occur at schools across the country today, December 17. While the origin of the threats remains unknown, the Sheriff’s Office takes this information very seriously. We have not been made aware of any threats to any schools in Mohave County. MCSO seeking assistance in locating stolen motorhome

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen motorhome. On Wednesday (12/15), deputies received information that the motorhome had been stolen from the area of Black Rock Rd. (Interstate 15 exit 27). The vehicle was thought to have been stolen sometime Sunday evening or Monday morning (12/12 and 12/13). The motorhome is described as a 1997 Monaco Executive, white in color with green and gold decals. Agricultural vehicle hauling a palm tree causes outage

BULLHEAD CITY – On Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 10:30 a.m., 501 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members in Golden Shores experienced an outage due to an agricultural vehicle hauling a cut palm tree. The outage occurred when the palm tree came into contact with MEC lines. Crews responded to repair the line, restoring power to all members at 12:32 p.m. The outage affected members in the southwestern territory of Golden Shores, Arizona. KINGMAN – The Arizona Department of Transportation indicates that the Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Parkway project “is on hold.” The project that includes development of a multi-million-dollar interchange with arterials leading north to the Kingman Airport and South to Hualapai Mountain Road had been scheduled to be put out for construction bids on Wednesday, Nov. 17. KINGMAN – An Arizona Attorney General’s Office prosecution of an alleged illegal campaign contribution in Kingman’s 2018 mayoral election may not go to trial.
