KINGMAN – Music, specials, food trucks, and vendors! Several shops will be open late, including the grand opening of Downtown Belly Dance at 212 N. Fourth St., Ste. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be a beer garden on The Patio at 223 E. Beale St., next to The Standard building. The MCC e-sports department will host a pop-up video game tournament on The Patio from 7 to 8 p.m. Festivities will be located on Beale Street and Andy Devine Avenue between First Street and Eighth Street in historic downtown Kingman.

Mohave Airport Drive Road Closure

KINGMAN, Ariz. – An upcoming road closure will allow Kincheloe Construction to complete an underground utility connection. They will have Mohave Airport Drive closed from Olympic Way to Flightline Drive. The closure will be in place beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd and remain in place until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4th, 2024. The City of Kingman urges anyone traveling through work zones to use caution and provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians. Animal shelter holding ‘Clear the Shelter’ event

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Animal Shelter is hosting a Clear the Shelter adoption event on Friday, April 5. This event will be held at 950 Buchanan St. from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Many animals are financially supported to be adopted for $25. All pets up for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on all vaccines. To adopt at this event, approval from the landlord will be required for rented homes. Self-watering bucket class

KINGMAN- The Mohave County Master Gardeners is hosting a free class on self-watering buckets, Tuesday, April 9 at 5:00 p.m. This workshop will be held at the Mohave County Cooperative Extension, 101 E Beale St. Attendees are asked to bring several items for the class: two 5-gallon buckets, one quart-sized paint mixing cup, 2 feet of 1-inch PVC pipe, 4 inches of one-half inch poly pipe.
