Last week, the nonprofit group hosted a charitable Bunco Fundraiser. The event took place on Monday May 13th at 6pm at the Aquatic Center.The history of this youth service organization dates all the way back to 1922 with Reverend W. Mark Sexson. Sexson was a Freemason of McAlester, Oklahoma who worked closely with DeMolay International, the fraternal organization for young men ages twelve to twenty one that came to be in 1919. KINGMAN – Feral Cat Warriors wll host a live musical fundraiser, Tiki Island Bash, on Saturday, June 1. The live musical performance will be by international reggae artist Iya Ingi & the Hierarchy Band. The Bash will be held at Beale Celebrations, 201 N. Fourth St. Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets include dinner, silent auction, 50/50, raffle prizes, contests. Alexis Carpenter of Fort Mohave was named to the University of Evansville Dean’s List for the Spring 2024 semester. Students at UE are named to the Dean’s List every fall and spring semester. To merit the honor of being placed on the Dean’s List, a student must have carried a full academic load of 12 hours or more and have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
