London Bridge Republican Women will host their monthly dinner  and meeting on Monday, June 3 at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room. Check in is at 5 p.m with dinner and the meeting at 6 p.m. Cost is $25 cash or check at the door. This month’s guest speakers will be candidates for Arizona State Senate Hildy Angius, Ashley Gerich, and Kimberly Zanon; and candidates for Mohave County Distric 5 Supervisor Ron Gould, Chris Morgan, and Catherin Lopez-Rajaniemi. Bullhead City Police Service Aide Tina Robledo and BHCPD Corporal Denny Crawford at last week’s Anti-auto theft seminar hosted at BHCPD headquarters.  BULLHEAD CITY – Last Friday afternoon the Bullhead City Police Department hosted a seminar showcasing ways to prevent car theft at BHCPD headquarters on Marina Blvd. Among the many techniques showcased were VIN etching, the etching of the vehicle’s VIN number on all the windows of the vehicle which allows investigators the means to determine the vehicle’s true owner via the etchings. Car thieves often switch out the VIN number plate located on the dash in the front window…

LAKE HAVASU CITY – It was a memorable night for the Lake Havasu dance community at Ballet Havasu’s Black and White Gala Ballet Fundraiser. The Black and White Gala Ballet Fundraiser took place on Saturday, May 11 with a pre-ballet fun fair from at the Ballet Havasu school. Two hours later, the fundraising gala began from at Lake Havasu Association Realtors Convention Center. 

The Jane George Chapter of Colonial Dames Mohave County members presented Vicki Markee of the Mohave County Musuem of History and Arts with a $100 donation on May 11.
