KINGMAN – The City of Kingman Parks & Recreation Department will host a Teen Night at Centennial Pool, 3333 Harrison St.. The event will be held Saturday, June 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $3 and includes a complimentary popcorn.
The Bureau of Land Management has announced an $11.1 million cooperative agreement with the Foundation for America’s Public Lands, BLM’s official charitable partner, to improve drought resilience in the Colorado River Basin. Saturday, June 15, more than 40 vendors brought the Kingman community together at the annual KRMC Kids Day, encouraging kids around Mohave County to make good health choices in a fun and inviting environment.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College held a ribbon cutting ceremony the morning of Wednesday, June 12 at Rotary Park’s Firebird Field in Bullhead City, home of Mohave Community College Men’s and Women’s Soccer.
Numerous elected officials, business owners and community partners were in attendance Wednesday morning as the crowd gathered to see the official unveiling of Firebird Field, which is set to be renamed thanks to the efforts of the Bighorn Booster Club. The Bighorn Booster Club will be reaching out to community partners and business in the near future with respect to naming rights.
