BULLHEAD CITY – Last weekend was the 7th Annual Kiwanis Cornfest in Bullhead City which drew out crowds once again for the annual event hosted at the Bullhead City Event Grounds off Marina Blvd.

Visitors streamed into the grounds to pursue the arts and crafts booths, visit the massive beer garden and the even larger Haunted House set up on the ever expanding event grounds which are still being built to offer a centralized locale for city events.

This year, as in years past, offered a plethora of activities for kids of all ages including a petting zoo, mini pony rides, the now famous Haunted House, bungee bounce setup where kids could leap into the air on bungee cords off trampolines and much more.

Live entertainment was provided by none other than Ken ‘Brick’ Cooper known as KBRICK whose talents are known far and wide in the Tri-state area where he performs in Laughlin regularly. DJ Loke was also on hand to keep the vibe flowing.

While parking for the event was a bit of a challenge, hundreds of visitors still managed to make it to the annual event sponsored by the Bullhead City Kiwanis Club.

The funds generated by the Confest stay in the community which is a big part of the annual Cornfest. A portion of the funds generated ever year go to enhancing Gary Keith Park in Bullhead City including the new concert stage. The organization also provides annual scholarships to high school grads, grants to local teachers, turkeys for Thanksgiving, books for children and enhancing playgrounds throughout the area.
