LAKE HAVASU CITY – Jennifer Lee of Lake Havasu City has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Summer 2024 Dean’s List. The summer terms run from May to August.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Approximately 1,500 students were named to the Biola University Dean’s List in spring 2024.
KINGMAN – Mohave Community Orchestra will host their Fall Concert on Saturday, Oct. 12 at College Park Community Center, 1990 Jagerson Ave.
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Fire Department and Mohave County Environmental Quality are hosting a free Residential Household Hazardous Waste event on Saturday, October 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The FAA Book Club is a family-oriented group looking for new members willing to work as a team and help others when they can. Members come from a diverse variety of genres. All ages are welcome to attend, even if you don’t have a computer.
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Fire Department is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)—the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for more than 90 years—to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work For You!” This year’s campaign, October 6-12, educates everyone about simple but important actions to keep yourself and those around you safe.
