LAKE HAVASU CITY – It’s time to dance and sway your way into the holiday season with lessons from the Marsh Dance Studio. Owned by highly trained performer Alice Marsh, the Lake Havasu dance instructor has been teaching the community how to dance to the beat for 53 years.

As a teen, Marsh took dance courses from two very prestigious dance studios. Arthur Murray International and Fred Astaire Studios in Phoenix, Arizona. At Fred Astaire Studios, the then 13-year-old, was caught off guard when she came to the realization that she had been dancing with a living legend.

Cookie Crawl on Gingerbread Lane

KINGMAN – The Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Crawl on Gingerbread Lane” Cookie Crawl on Saturday, Dec. 14. The event will have you crawling from business to business in Historic downtown Kingman along the newly renovated Beale Street.

Cookie container and passport pickup: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce,

309 E Beale St. Cookie Crawl: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cash prize raffle drawing for completed passports.

Upcoming road closure on Andy Devine Ave and Hall Street

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to notify residents that there will be another full street closure in place on Hall Street and the right southwest bound lane on Andy Devine on Monday, December 9th and Tuesday, December 10th, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day.

Elf the Musical is a heartwarming, family-friendly show based on the beloved 2003 film. It follows the story of Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole, who travels to New York City to find his birth father and discover where he truly belongs. Along the way, Buddy spreads Christmas cheer to everyone he meets, transforming the lives of those around him.

Casinos continue tradition of Thanksgiving meals for area’s homeless students

LAUGHLIN / BULLHEAD CITY – Dozens of students and their families in the Bullhead City School District will again have traditional Thanksgiving meals, following donations by the Aquarius and Edgewater Casino Resorts in Laughlin, Hope United Methodist Church in Bullhead City, and the Bullhead City Lions Club.

Golden Entertainment’s Aquarius/Edgewater “Feed A Family” program provided 42 turkey meals with trimmings from side dishes to dessert for BCSD families. BCSD also received five complete meals from Hope UMC and six from the Lions Club.
