FAA Book Club seeks new members

GOLDEN VALLEY – Have you ever wanted to write a book but didn’t know how? Begin or know how to market your book? Or get published? Perhaps you have already written your book but need help with marketing. Then you need to attend a meeting with the FAA Book Club.

The FAA Book Club is a family-oriented group looking for new members willing to work as a team and help others when they can. Members come from a diverse variety of genres. All ages are welcome to attend, even if you don’t have a computer.

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Fire Department is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)—the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for more than 90 years—to promote this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work For You!” This year’s campaign, October 6-12, educates everyone about simple but important actions to keep yourself and those around you safe.

MCC’s annual Pumpkinfest event is back for the community

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is hosting its annual Pumpkinfest event for the community! MCC’s Kingman, Lake Havasu and Bullhead campuses will have a lot of fun games, treats and candy. The event is free and for all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
