Kingman PD celebrates National Volunteer Week,  20th Year of VIPS Program

KINGMAN — The Kingman Police Department is celebrating their Volunteers in Policing (VIPS) 20th Anniversary during National Volunteer Week, April 20th through the 26th.  

In 2005 the first six VIPS became part of the KPD family and since then have completed tens of thousands of hours of service to the community.  Some of their duties include 20 day impound hearings, fleet service, traffic control, special events, equipment inventory, parking violations; property watches and assist with DUI details.
