KINGMAN – A project to construct a free-flowing interchange between Interstate 40 and US 93 is quickly transforming the landscape along I-40 in this northwest Arizona community, with crews clearing land for new travel lanes, removing sound walls and preparing the foundations for new bridges.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on northbound US 93 near Wikieup to plan for the following overnight lane restrictions for the removal and replacement of guardrail:

New homeless service will be mobile

KINGMAN – A Kingman community outreach program administered by the Northern Lights Ministry is working to serve the homeless in innovative fashion. The Acts of Kindness endeavor is building a flatbed trailer that will deliver essential service to those in need.

“We’re building a mobile shower trailer. This mobile shower trailer’s going to have four shower stalls. It’s going to have one laundry unit. It will be mobile and it will go out to different locations where the homeless are,” said congregation member Robbie Stiles.

BULLHEAD CITY – “Celebration in a Snow Globe” was the theme for Friday’s 26th Annual Boombox Parade hosted by Colorado River Women’s Council.

BULLHEAD CITY – Last Saturday Murphy Broadcasting and Mohave Community College in conjunction with Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse hosted an all day Holiday Bazaar for folks looking for those special gifts for loved ones this Christmas season. The event ran from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and hosted a wide variety of vendors offering those unique holiday gifts, treats and specialty creations.

The Murphy Team said that nearly 150 attendees stopped in during the day-long event that filled the floor and lobby of the Fieldhouse offering every manner of treats and eats, bounce houses and face painting for the kids
