College for Kids returns to MCC Havasu campus

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College’s Community Education Division is bringing back College for Kids with hands-on learning rooted in real-world career pathways.

There will be a focus on academic enrichment and a college-going mindset. College for Kids is an opportunity for children to discover their strengths, spark new interests and gain confidence in a supportive and fun environment.

From budding scientists to creative storytellers, this year’s camp lineup has something for every curious mind:

  • STEM & Medical Exploration: Future Scientists, Mini-Medics, Mystery Sleuths, and Healthcare Career Exploration ignite young learners’ love for science, discovery and helping others.
  • Technology & Innovation: Technology & Coding Camp introduces robotics, circuits and problem-solving.
  • Creative Expression: Campers explore imagination and storytelling through Art Adventure, Creative Writing and Lego Life Lessons.
  • Leadership & Life Skills: Entrepreneur/Shark Tank and Safe & Smart Sitter camps develop entrepreneurial thinking and personal responsibility.
  • Cultural Awareness & Compassion: Conversational Spanish and Paw & Pets camps inspire empathy and global perspective.

Camps fill quickly and are only available through June. Explore the full list and register now at MCCforKids.com. For questions, contact Sandy Desmarteau at sdesmarteau@mohave.edu or call (928) 505-3319.
