Since 1998, The Department of Meteorology and Climate Science at San Jose State University have reported that there have been 804 pediatric vehicular heatstroke deaths in the United States, where more than half of the deaths are children under two years of age. In 2019, there have been a total of nine deaths reported, with two deaths reported in Arizona. Bushey gets jail, community service, and probation for thefts

Sticky fingers at work bring a felony conviction and jail time for a Bullhead City woman. Brianna Bushey, 30, pleaded guilty to theft of $5,924 worth of lottery tickets from the Desert Foothills Blvd. convenience store where she worked. Lane closures on US 93 north of Wikieup set to begin June 3 and continue through August

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists with travel plans along US 93 north of Wikieup to plan ahead and expect delays of up to 20 minutes through early August while road construction is underway.
