Restoration planned for WWI monument at Mohave County Courthouse

The Arizona Military Order of Devil Dog Charities is making great progress in raising funds to restore the World War I monument located at the Mohave County courthouse in downtown Kingman. Donations, large and small, are being received from individuals, businesses and civic/veteran organizations from all over Mohave County. Work will soon be underway to install an exact bronze replica of the machine gun that was stolen from the monument sometime in the late 1990s. Also enhanced landscaping, lighting and improved surveillance equipment will add to repair work on the deteriorating stonework of the monument. Plans are being made for…
