Flag Football and Cheer Are you ready for some flag football? Registration is now open for area youth, currently enrolled in first through sixth grades, for the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Flag Football and Cheer program. Cost is $52 per participant, which includes a t-shirt for football players or t-shirt and pompoms for cheerleaders. This program is a great way to learn key components of the game, develop skills, and play as a team in a safe and fun environment. KINGMAN – For September’s Downtown Kingman’s First Friday local art will be featured. Besides lots of lovely art to look at and buy, there will be music, food, drinks, and fun on Beale Street. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a recent dog bite.  A 23-year-old male reported that on Thursday, August 8 at about 8:30 p.m., a stray dog bit him on his leg as he was riding his bicycle in the 1100 block of Hancock Road. The dog then ran away in an unknown direction. The dog is described as a silver and/or blue & white Pitbull mix. ACW officers searched the area, but have not found the dog.
