Culvert repair requires lane restrictions Wednesday

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Public Works crews are repairing a drainage culvert at London Bridge Road near Mesquite Bay North, on Wednesday, October 30, beginning at 7:00 a.m. This work requires road restrictions on London Bridge Road to a one-way lane with flaggers intermittently allowing traffic through the work zone. Work is expected to last for one day. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes, allow extra travel time, and follow all construction signage. KINGMAN – The Kingman Downtown Merchants Association (KDMA) in cooperation with U.S. military services will host their annual Veteran’s Day Parade on Saturday, Nov. 9 beginning at 10 a.m. The parade route will travel from Fifth and Beale Sts., to First and Beale Sts. This year’s theme is the United States Navy.

BULLHEAD CITY – The 1st Marine Division Association and Paul Walsh Veteran’s Day committee have announced this year’s Veteran’s Day Parade Grand Marshal. This year’s honoree is a 22-year veteran of the Unites States Navy, Senior Chief Donald W. Rice, EMCS USN. Senior Chief Rice was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts on June 16, 1927 and joined the Navy in May of 1945 when he was only 17.
