On Wednesday, June 19 from 4:30-6:00 p.m., Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) will host an Open House event for the Grand Opening of its new Community Pharmacy. The Community Pharmacy is located in suite 106 of KRMC’s Medical Professional Building at 1739 Beverly Avenue. This event will include an official Ribbon Cutting with the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce and light refreshments. Pharmacy staff will offer guided tours of the new pharmacy area and answer questions about their services. Kingman Unified School District governing board members approved next year’s budget and saluted retiring personnel during their Tuesday meeting. Finance Director Ahron Sherman noted the tentative spending plan allocations almost $47.5 million for maintenance and operations and that some $9-million is designated for capital projects. Sherman said the final budget may reflect some numerical changes as end of year spending will determine how much carryover there might be.
