KASRA Ditch Day is Sept. 24

KINGMAN – Yes, the Kingman Area School Retirees’ Association (KASRA) Ditch Day Brunch is Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The event will be held at Upton’s Hidden Pines Bed & Breakfast, 935 S. DW Ranch Rd. (take east I-40 and turn right at exit 59).

This brunch is a fiestabring  your favorite dish to share, some funds for raffle ticket,; and non-perishable lunch items for

KASRA’s worthy cause: The Wildflower Foundation, which makes weekend food backpacks for needy students. The Wildflower Foundation has started with one school in the district, and hopes to expand.

There will be awards for best Mexican attire! Also bring a fellow retiree (or several) when you come to the fiesta. KASRA’S goal is to assist in protecting pensions! 

KASRA’S and AASRA’S (the state-wide organization) primary purpose is to help protect pensions.  There are groups every day trying to do away with out defined benefit pensions. Come and be a part of KASRA and AASRA (All Arizona School Retirees Association).
