KINGMAN – In following Governor Ducey’s Executive Order (2020-18) “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected,” the City of Kingman is continuing the current closures of all city buildings (except the Municipal Courthouse, Parks and Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course) to all public access until at least May 4, 2020. Governor Ducey has asked Arizonans to limit their time away from their residences, but if people need to leave their homes, they practice physical distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City filed litigation last Friday in its ongoing effort to take over the local utility owned and operated by EPCOR Water Arizona, Inc. The City is trying to acquire local EPCOR assets through an eminent domain condemnation action filed in Mohave County Superior Court. Voters last November approved the city initiative to acquire EPCOR given frustration over multiple rate increases in recent years.
