LAKE HAVASU CITY – In response to COVID-19 concerns, and based on discussions with and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the office of Governor Doug Ducey, Arizona Department of Health Services, and the Mohave County Public Health Department, all City events, programs, and activities are canceled, including the Vetsgiving Brunch scheduled for March 29, and the Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager scheduled Friday, April 3. County ramping up for impending contagion Mohave County is minimizing public access to county government buildings to promote public health during the pandemic that saw more than 230 Arizonans test positive for the COVID-19 virus by early Monday afternoon.  MOHAVE COUNTY – Effective immediately, due to possible COVID-19 health concerns, the Mohave County Assessor, Recorder and Treasurer’s offices will be implementing modified operations at the offices located in Bullhead City, Kingman and Lake Havasu City.  These offices will be limiting face-to-face contact with the public. KINGMAN, Ariz. – Governor Doug Ducey issued Executive Order 2020-09 that limits the operations of certain businesses to slow the spread of COVID-19.  Specifically, the order requires that all bars, movie theaters, indoor gyms and fitness clubs close public access in all counties that have a positive result for COVID-19.  Restaurants are limited to “dine-out” options including pick-up, delivery and drive-through options. Mohave County does not have any confirmed cases, but the backlog of testing within the state is immense.
