MOHAVE COUNTY – Restaurants meeting certain criteria can welcome dine-in customers once again starting next Monday. BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave Electric Cooperative is another step closer to making fiber-optic broadband service a reality for its members with approval by the Arizona Corporation Commission of a financing application in a unanimous 5-0 vote of the Commissioners. Scammers using Zelle for money transfers

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office would like to inform the community of a scam that has increased in popularity recently. Over the course of six weeks, they have received four calls of citizens being scammed out of money after attempting to purchase an animal over the internet. Three of these scams have taken place in the last two weeks. The victims all claim they attempted to purchase a pet (two dog incidents and two cat incidents) on various pet adoption websites across the country. MOHAVE COUNTY – Dozens of people have applied for the Mohave County Manager position that Mike Hendrix will vacate for retirement on June 30. Human Resources Director Ken Cunningham said a national recruiting campaign netted 44 job applications by Wednesday. “They’re from all over the nation. They’re not just local,” Cunningham said of the applicant field.
