Fawson speaks at Rotary

Becky Fawson, President/CEO of Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce and Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club member, spoke at the club’s October 23 meeting. Fawson reviewed the Andy Award winners over the years, many of which were club members. MCSO receives grant funding

Sheriff Doug Schuster has announced that the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has received funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to purchase: ~ Portable Breath Test machines ($3,511) ~ Radar Units for Patrol vehicles ($5,100) The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office will use the Portable Breath Testers as a way to enhance DUI enforcement throughout Mohave County. They currently use PBT machines for DUI cases, however half of the patrol deputies do not have a PBT machine readily available for their use. It could be several days before all of the Mohave County general election vote is processed and tabulated. This morning’s numbers are incomplete and unofficial pending canvas. Typically, there are several thousand ballots not counted on general election day in Presidential contest years in Mohave County.
