KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Mohave County Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter, who has been serving on the Board of Supervisors since 2010. KRW meets on the first Monday of each month. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.  and the meeting begins at 1 p.m. Meetings are held at the College Park Church Community Center, 1990 Jagerson Avenue. Meetings are open to the public and membership is not required. There is a $3 fee to cover the cost of the meeting room. Lunch will not be served but brown baggers are welcome.

MOHAVE COUNTY – Less than a year after beginning his first term as Bullhead City Mayor. Steve D’Amico has declared intent to seek higher officer next year. D’Amico visited the Mohave County elections office in Kingman Monday, declaring his intent to seek the republican nomination for Dist. 2 supervisor next year. D’Amico said the law will require him to step down when he submits his nominating petitions next spring. He said he will recommend that Vice Mayor Rodney Head be appointed in his place as Mayor.
