Kingman council: New leadship welcomes, scooters to return

KINGMAN – New Interim City Manager Grady Miller was recognized following the start of Tuesday’s Kingman Council meeting. Mayor Ken Watkins handled the welcome and introduction. “Grady, glad to have you on board,” Watkins said. “Thank you mayor and council and the public,” Miller responded. “I’m very glad to be here and am looking forward to the next several months in helping the council.” Mayor Watkins noted that Miller has experienced some difficulty in securing housing for his indefinite period of Kingman employment. Kingman woman reappointed to national board

WASHINGTON, D.C. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS)has announced selections for the National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board. The agencies selected two new members and re-appointed a third to the board, which advises both agencies on the management and protection of wild free-roaming horses and burros on public lands. The National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board is comprised of nine members of diverse expertise and backgrounds who provide guidance and recommendations to the BLM and USFS involving wild free-roaming horses and burros on public lands.
