LAKE HAVASU CITY – Last week’s Lake Havasu City Council meeting announced that the fire department will now be using the LUCAS 3 Chest Compression System. KINGMAN – The City of Kingman would like to notify the community, that Bird Rides, Inc. electric scooters will no longer be available in Kingman as of February 3. The agreement that began in February 2022 will officially end on January 31. All of the scooters are expected to be picked up by February 3. The City of Kingman Economic Development team has worked closely with representatives from Bird Rides, Inc. over the last two years to make this endeavor a success for Kingman tourists and residents. New electric rates for UniSource Energy Services customers will take effect Feb. 1 to help cover rising costs and support ongoing investments in safe, reliable service. The average monthly bills of typical residential customers on UniSource’s Basic pricing plan are expected to increase by $13.68 under the new rates, approved Jan. 17 by the Arizona Corporation Commission. Bill impacts will vary with usage and are likely to be higher during hot weather, when customers typically use more energy, and lower in cooler months. LAKE HAVASU CITY – On Monday, January 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Michael Baker International and Lake Havasu City invite the public to an open house to share information and gain feedback on the Lake Havasu City Second Bridge Feasibility Study objectives, tasks, and schedule.
