KINGMAN – Lisa Wise Consulting, Inc. (LWC) has been selected by the City of Kingman to review, evaluate, provide recommendations, and update the city’s Zoning Ordinance. The estimated schedule assumes this work will be completed by December 2020. City staff has been working with LWC since early July 2019 on the initial stakeholder interviews and initial audit of the current Zoning Ordinance with recommendations for the updated Zoning Ordinance. KINGMAN – Several downtown Kingman property owners objected when the city council approved a proposed grain silo for the Rickety Cricket brewery operation on Beale St. Owner Terry Thomson sought an encroachment permit to place the 31-foot-tall structure that can store up to 55,000 pounds of grain on a portion of the public sidewalk. LAKE  HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Clerk Kelly Williams recently earned the Master Municipal Clerk designation from IIMC, the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Inc. The IIMC grants the MMC designation only to those municipal clerks who complete demanding education requirements, and who have record of significant contributions to their local government, their community and state.
