BULLHEAD CITY – Due to anticipated gusty north winds and critical fire weather conditions- Bullhead City Fire Marshal Jim Dykens has implemented a No Burn Ban beginning today, Oct. 9, through Friday, Oct. 11, ending at 8 a.m. The National Weather Service advised: gusty north winds of 35 to 45 mph will spread across the region Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. Strongest winds will be along and near the Colorado River Valley, where wind gusts to 50 to 60 mph will be possible Wednesday night through Friday morning. KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum (MRF)  meeting on tonight, October 9, at 5:30 p.m. with Congressman Paul Gosar (AZ District 2) and Arizona House Representative Regina Cobb (AZ District 5), who will be speaking and answering questions. During the Arizona Fire Chief’s Association’s annual President’s Forum in Tucson, Kingman Fire Department Fire Chief Jake Rhoades was named the new Treasurer.
