MOHAVE COUNTY – For the first time since last March, many Mohave Community College Student Services Division employees came back to campus this week, as the college eased pandemic restrictions on October 19. A total of approximately two dozen employees are now back on the campuses, specifically to assist students and the public with a variety of services. KINGMAN – While the City of Kingman has lifted its mask mandate, Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) announced today that it will continue to require masks in all KRMC facilities. All employees, patients, and visitors must wear a mask in the hospital or in any KRMC medical clinic or business office. KRMC will also continue to screen anyone entering its facilities for COVID-19 symptoms. KINGMAN – The Kingman City Council voted 4-3 to repeal the mask mandate following 1:45 minute discussion during Tuesday’s meeting. Deana Nelson’s motion to rescind the mandate was supported by fellow council members SueAnn Mello Keener and Ken Watkins and Vice Mayor Travis Lingenfelter. Mayor Jen Miles and council members David Wayt and Jamie Scott Stehly were in the minority.
