MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County is seeking public input on County road projects and priorities. The County Transportation Commission will be listening to input from the public on their five-year Capital Improvement Road Project prioritization at a public meeting. The meeting is scheduled for May 11, at 2:30 p.m. at the Lake Havasu City library. Please call Supervisor Gould’s office at (928) 453-0735 for further information.
KINGMAN – On May 6, 2021 at the Mohave Co Fair Association Board of Directors Meeting the board voted to terminate the fair manager’s employment agreement effective immediately. Tim Woods had been placed on paid administrative leave on Sunday May 2. A candidate search for the fair manager position is forthcoming. Karen Hughes, board member, is acting fair manager until the position is filled. All planned events will continue as scheduled. Fireworks are scheduled for July 4 and The Mohave Co Fair will be Sept 16-19.

Steven Claude Robinson, 65, was booked into the Adult Detention Center late Thursday, April 6 on a charge of driving under the influence to the slightest degree. Robinson served as point person for the Donald Trump Presidential campaign in northwest Arizona last year and he has worked tirelessly for the Mohave County republican party over the years, including a stint as Dist. 1 Director. The Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce helped commemorate the grand opening of Fina’s Glamour Boutique in Bullhead City this week. Owner Aide Saucedo has been in the area for many years working from home and has now been able to open a location of her own. Fina’s Glamour Boutique has clothing, purses, sandals, kid’s toys, glasses and more.
