BULLHEAD CITY  – On Tuesday, July 15, at 7:33 a.m., 542 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members experienced an outage due to a damaged connector after strong stormy winds. Crews responded by de-energizing the line to make repairs. Once repairs were completed, the line was re-energized, and power was restored to all members at 9:53 a.m. The outage affected members north of Marina Blvd. and south of Church Street of Bullhead City. KINGMAN – A Kingman republican who will be term limited out of the Arizona State House of Representatives late next year is seeking state office. District 5 rep. Regina Cobb is running for Arizona State Treasurer. “I’m going to be establishing an exploratory campaign committee today,” Cobb said Tuesday morning. Cobb said the purpose of the committee is to build campaign platform and fundraising strategy rather than measure the viability of her bid for state office.
