Bullhead traffic victim has been identified

BULLHEAD CITY — Bullhead city police have released the name of the man who was fatally injured in a two vehicle crash on August 5. With kin notified, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt identified the deceased as Patrick Chase, 68.

Fromelt says the Perris, California man’s Honda CRV crossed the center line of highway 95, causing a head-on collision with an oncoming Toyota Highlander just south of Clubhouse Drive. Chase was pronounced dead following transport to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.

Three people in the Highlander were transported to the same hospital. Fromelt said the driver was seriously injured and that two passengers sustained minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
