BOS extends public comments submission methods

MOHAVE COUNTY – There are specific rules regarding public input at Mohave County Board of Supervisors meetings. Now, in addition to being physically present to comment at meetings, the board has made it clear that the public may also submit letters and/or comments in writing beforehand.

It should be noted that any letters and/or comments to the Board regarding agendized items must be received no later than 8:00 a.m. the Friday before a Board meeting to qualify for placement into the backup of any item.  These letters/comments should be sent to the county clerk at ginny.anderson@mohavecounty.us

They will then be forwarded to the Board and placed in the backup for that meeting.

Submissions for the Call to the Public should also be sent to ginny.anderson@mohavecounty.us no later than 5:00 p.m. the Friday before any Board meeting.  They must be 150 words or less to be read into the record at the meeting.  Submissions received after the deadline on that Friday will not be read at the Monday morning meeting.
