BULLHEAD CITY – On Sunday, November 5 at 7:11 a.m., a bird made contact with a primary line, causing the breaker to open and damaging two fuses and a transformer. This outage affected 2,371 members in Mohave Electric Cooperative’s (MEC) service area expanding from Marina Boulevard on the north to Lause Road on the south and Riverview Drive on the west to Oatman Road on the east. MEC crews responded, replaced the damaged equipment, and restored power to the majority of members at 8:34 a.m. After further repairs, the remaining 67 members were restored at 9:30 a.m.

Outage restoration is important to Mohave Electric Cooperative. Please remember, there are many ways to report an outage.
